In the Bundesliga, Hamburg SV ended defending champ Wolfsburg's run of 16 straight home wins with a 4-2 away win on Sunday. Wolfsburg, which had not lost at home for 20 games, battled back from a 2-0 deficit by scoring twice in under four minutes early in the second half.

But Hamburg struck back with two goals to finish off the game. Croatian Mladen Petric scored in the 75th after Brazilian Ze Roberto had fed Nigerian-German Dennis Aogo, who crossed into the box and Petric connected with a left-foot volley. Romeo Castelen completed the victory with a goal in the 90th minute. "We played against a very strong Hamburg," Wolfsburg goalkeeper Diego Benaglio said, while teammate Zvjezdan Misimovic said the team had "slept through the first half."
