Aluko powers England into semifinals

[EUROPEAN WOMEN'S CHAMPIONSHIP] Two goals from Saint Louis Athletica forward Eniola Aluko -- the second after she beat three defenders -- helped England defeat host Finland, 3-2, before a sellout crowd in Turku and move into the semifinals of the 2009 European Women's Championship.

England, which started four WPS players, will face the Netherlands, the surprise of the tournament, on Sunday in the semifinals. The Oranje women upset France on penalty kicks.

In the other semifinal, four-time defending champion Germany will meet Norway on Monday.
