BOSTON BREAKERS, WOMEN'S PROFESSIONAL SOCCER (WPS)
Boston Women's Soccer, LLC, seeks a General Manager for their women's professional soccer team, responsible for all business and game operations, revenue production and budgeting, player contracts and coordination with Director of Soccer. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage a staff of 20, including interns; Oversee budget for both the soccer and business side; Liaise with Director of Soccer for all team-related issues; Coordinate with BWS investor group on all financial matters; Oversee the development and implementation of the marketing, sponsorship and ticketing plans; Manage relationships with team and league sponsors; Review and implement all game operations minimum standards with team director of operations; Negotiate all player contracts and manage overall salary limitations; Manage relationship with stadium owner (Harvard University) as it relates to lessor/lessee contract for training facilities and stadium use; Manage TV vendor; Coordinate all day of game security with Team Ops; Oversee and drive all revenue producing opportunities; Actively participate in all general manager and league conference calls; Monitor account executives; File league reports in a timely manner; Any other responsibilities assigned by the managing partner of BWS.
