Former Wake Forest star Cody Arnoux
is acclimating to life in England with new club Everton. Living with fellow American Anton Peterlin
, who joined Everton earlier in
the summer, has helped Arnoux's comfort level. "[Living with Peterlin] has helped a lot in the transition," said Arnoux, who plays for the reserve team. "Having someone you feel
comfortable with makes a load of difference in making this type of transition easier."
On the field, Arnoux is focused on improving. He is relishing the time he gets against top
players. "We always have a few first team guys in and about our [reserve] team getting back to fitness and what not," Arnoux said. "So the training is really good. We also train with
the first team a lot so it's a good experience for someone like me to play against the likes of [Louis
Arnoux has seen regular playing time for the reserve team, scoring on his debut game against Burnley, so the Califronia native
is off to the right start. He says his only goal is improvement: "The only milestone I have set for myself is to work hard and get better everyday. This year I just want to build on my
experiences and grow as a player."
