College News: Portland's Enyeart lost for playoffs

* ENYEART OUT. Portland suffered a major blow when senior All-America Michelle Enyeart was lost for the remainder of the 2009 season with a right knee injury suffered five seconds before halftime of the Pilots' 2-0 win over San Diego in the regular -eason finale on Friday night.

Enyeart concludes her career on The Bluff as the No. 4 all-time scorer in Portland history with 136 points (48 goals, 40 assists). She also joins Pilot legends Tiffeny Milbrett and Shannon MacMillan as the only players in school history with at least 40 career goals and 40 career assists.

With 13 goals and 12 assists this season, Enyeart was Portland's second leading scorer. She helped the program to its third consecutive undefeated West Coast Conference season and fourth straight NCAA playoff appearance.

The Pilots, awarded a No. 2 seed in the NCAA playoffs, will host Denver in the first round on Friday at 7 p.m.
