French teenager Gael Kakuta
, at the heart of a controversy that got Chelsea barred FIFA from signing new players until 2011, made his Premier League debut for
the Blues on Saturday, coming on as a second-half substitute in a 4-0 home win against Wolves. Chelsea was found guilty of inducing Kakuta to break his contract with Lens in 2007. The matter is now
up for appeal. "Kakuta is a good talent, he is very young," Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti
told Sky Sports. "I think that he deserved to play today."
