The Big Ten and Pac-10 were the only conferences both have two teams left in the tournament.

Sunday's loser was the Big East, which had two teams eliminated in Thursday's first round and its three remaining survivors fall in the second round.

The game of the day took place in Tulsa, where the Golden Hurricane blew 2-0 and 3-1 leads and was tied by Saint Louis with five seconds left in regulation before winning, 4-3, on Ashley McInnes' golden goal seven minutes into overtime.
