Tyler sweeps men's and women's titles

[NJCAA DIVISION I] Tyler Junior College's men's and women's teams captured their first NJCAA Division I national championships on Sunday.

In the men's final at Mercer County Community College, Tyler defeated Georgia Perimeter 5-3 in a shootout after two overtimes yielded nothing but a 0-0 tie.

Playing at home, the Lady Apaches downed Johnson County 3-0 to end the season with a 19-0-1 record.
