Seminoles and Irish meet for fourth year in row

[FLORIDA STATE-NOTRE DAME PREVIEW] The Seminoles and Irish meet for the fourth straight year in the quarterfinals or later of the NCAA Women's Tournament when they play Friday at 2 pm at the Seminole Soccer Complex.

Notre Dame won in the 2006 semifinals, Florida State got revenge at the same stage in 2007, and the Irish won, 2-0, in South Bend last year to advance to the College Cup for the 10th time in school history.

Notre Dame (20-3-1) takes an 18-game unbeaten streak into the game. Florida State (19-4-1) has won all 13 games it's played in Tallahassee.

Players to Watch ...
Melissa Henderson (Notre Dame). The sophomore had six goals in the first two NCAA Tournament games, and it was her brilliant individual effort that led to the second-half goal by Rose Augustin that gave the Irish a 1-0 win over Oregon State in the quarterfinals.

Jessica Price (Florida State). The sophomore scored the golden goal in the 2-1 win over Texas A&M to complete the comeback in the third round. It was the third straight game she has scored for the Seminoles. She has led the Seminole offense with 16 goals and 10 assists for 42 points.
