EPL's Hammers partner with six youth clubs

English Premier League club West Ham United has partnered with six youth clubs in the United States and Canada and has hired Mike Kelleher, based out of Atlanta, to spearhead its International Academy in North America.

West Ham will be hosting a series of player events with partner clubs during 2010, culminating in the West Ham United National Camp in the Washington, D.C., area in July 2010.

The 2009 West Ham United partner clubs:

Alpharetta United FC/Ambush Elite SC. Will represent the West Ham United Academy in the Atlanta area.

Erin Mills SC. Ranked as the No. 1 club in Ontario by TERRA power rankings.

Euro SC. First West Ham United partner club in the Chicago metropolitan area.

Newport Mesa SC. CSL club serving the Newport Beach area close to Los Angeles.

Northern Virginia Soccer. Named as the top club by United Soccer Leagues for the 2009 Super Y League.

Santa Clara Sporting. One of the oldest and most successful competitive youth programs in Northern California.
