Top-seed Lindsey Wilson falls to Point Loma Nazarene

[NAIA WOMEN] Point Loma Nazarene (Calif.) upset No. 1 seed Lindsey Wilson, 2-0, to advance to the semifinals of the NAIA Women's National Championship in Decatur, Ala.

The Sea Lions got goals from seniors Ashley Adams and Alex Fuller. The Blue Raider loss meant that the No. 1 seed has not reached the semifinals for the first time since seeding began in 2000.

Point Loma Nazarene joined Azusa Pacific as the second team from the Golden State Athletic Conference to reach the semifinals. The other semifinalists are No. 2 seed Lee and No. 6 Concordia (Ore.).
