USA-England: crunch for the hottest ticket in South Africa

[WORLD CUP 2010 COUNTDOWN] The USA-England game on June 12 in Rustenburg will be one of the hottest tickets at the World Cup in Africa. More tickets have been requested from the United States than any country outside South Africa, and England expects to draw on the support of thousands of followers. But fans may have a hard time finding tickets for the game. The Royal Bafokeng Sports Palace is the smallest of the 10 World Cup stadiums, holding only 42,000 fans.

According to the Daily Mirror, England will receive only 4,125 tickets for the game.

"It's unfortunate that the biggest match in the group is going to be played in the smallest stadium," Kevin Miles of the Football Supporters' Federation told the Daily Mirror. "The USA game is going to be the hottest ticket in town. They will be like gold dust. If we go back to Rustenburg, tickets for the round of 16 they will be even harder to find."

Rustenburg's fan fest will be at Fields College School and could attract as many as 20,000 fans without tickets.
