Howard the hero with PK stop

[AMERICANS ABROAD] After Everton came back from a two-goal deficit, goalkeeper Tim Howard saved a stoppage-time penalty kick with his feet to earn the Toffees a 2-2 tie with Tottenham. In Germany, Borussia Moenchengladbach's five-game undefeated streak came to an end but Michael Bradley got an assist in the 2-1 loss to Bayern Munich.

dived to his right but blocked Jermain Defoe's penalty shot down the middle with his feet in stoppage time of Everton's 2-2 tie with Tottenham, which was leading 2-0 until Everton came back with two goals in the final 12 minutes. Howard made six saves in the game for Everton, which inched to three points above the relegation zone. Defender Jonathan Spector got a second straight start on West Ham's backline as the Hammers fell, 4-0, to Manchester United. Keeper Marcus Hahnemann, who saw his first EPL action of the season last weekend, returned to the lineup and helped Wolves beat Bolton.
