Beasley gets some Champions League action

[AMERICANS ABROAD] Midfielder DaMarcus Beasley, who recently said he wants to leave Glasgow Rangers because of a lack of playing time, played the first 45 minutes of the Scottish club's meaningless Champions League game against Sevilla that Rangers lost, 1-0.

Going into its final group game, Rangers had already been eliminated of a chance to reach the knockout stage or finish third for a Europa League spot.

Beasley previously saw four minutes of Champions League action this season, as an 86th minute sub in a Rangers' 2-0 home loss to Stuttgart Nov. 24. He has made only four league appearances this season for Rangers
