Juventus in trouble on and off the field

Italian giant Juventus lost its third straight game and first to Catania in 45 years when it fell, 2-1, at home on Sunday.

It could be in big trouble with Italian authorities after fans repeated racist chants of "There are no black Italians" that led to a stadium ban last season. Last year's chant was directed at Inter Milan's Mario Balotelli, a Ghanaian raised by Italian foster parents. This year's chant was intended to show the contempt fans have with Juve's performance, their knowing the club could be sanctioned for the chants. (Other fans showed their displeasure by standing with their backs to the field during the game.)

Before Sunday's game, the Juve bus was hit by eggs and firecrackers on its way into the stadium.
