English Premier League club Burnley is the latest team to enter the
Stuart Holden sweepstakes. Burnley manager
Owen
Coyle wants to sign the U.S. international, who has also attracted the interest of Rangers and Aberdeen in his native Scotland and Burnley rival Blackburn and has an offer to remain in MLS
with the Houston Dynamo.
Coyle has received good reports on the free agent whose hard-running style could help the Clarets. His status as a free agent and his British passport make
him an attractive player.
Another player mentioned as a possible Burnley
target
is Holden's U.S. and Dynamo teammate,
Ricardo Clark.
