Unable to find a first-team spot at Inter Milan, Honduran star David Suazo
has been loaned to Genoa for six months. He is expected to replace Italian Sergio Floccari,
who was himself loaned out to Lazio.
After eight years at Cagliari, Suazo, 30, moved to Inter in 2007 but was loaned out to Benfica
after only one season. He returned to Inter this season but has made only one Serie A appearance.
Injuries in recent years have reduced his role on the Honduran national team, but he
is expected to be a key player for the Catrachos at the 2010 World Cup.
