Four MLS players lead USA at Copa Chivas

[U.S. UNDER-20 NATIONAL TEAM] Four MLS players -- Amobi Okugo and Jack McInerney, both first-round picks by the Philadelphia Union, and rookie defender Zac Herold and third-year pro Fuad Ibrahim at Toronto FC -- are among 20 players who will represent the U.S. under-20 national team at the 2010 Copa Chivas in Guadalajara, Mexico.

Mexico, Japan and Brazil are also sending national teams, while Chivas USA and the Houston Dynamo will also be represented in the tournament, which begins Friday.

Thomas Rongen's team includes a pair of U-17 World Cup veteran goalies in Maryland's Zac MacMath, who started two games at the 2007 event in Korea Republic, and Earl Edwards, who went the distance in all four games in Nigeria 2009 and is now enrolled at UCLA.

Edwards, McInerney and Herold are among 11 players from the 2009 U-17s to make the jump to the U-20s for this trip.
