Stuart Holden's search for a British club may be over. The Scottish-born U.S. international impressed new Bolton Wanderers manager
Owen Coyle in a short trial and is to be offered a contract through the end of the 2010 EPL season.
Holden has been linked to clubs in England, Scotland and Portugal and is
available to sign on a free transfer after finishing up his contract with MLS's Houston Dynamo. Bolton is also set to sign another young midfielder, Slovakian
Vladimir Weiss, until the end of the season, on loan from Manchester City.
"Stuart has got something he wants to prove," said Coyle. "We will have a chat and see where we go
from there."
