Second son joins Krumpe at LMU

[LOYOLA MARYMOUNT] Son Cameron was among the six high school seniors Coach Paul Krumpe signed for the 2010 season at Loyola Marymount. Five other freshmen, including a pair of players from the Los Angeles Galaxy Youth Academy U-18 team, will join transfer Mitch Boland, who enrolled at LMU in January after transferring from Gonzaga, where he was a 2008 WCC All-Freshman honoree.

The other freshmen: Christian Alvarado, Eric Brunter, Trent Clifton, Aaron Garfinkel and Craig Nitti.

Two of the forwards, Alvarado and Clifton (5-11, 170 lbs), are expected to contribute immediately. They both currently play for the Galaxy U-18 team.

“The 2010 incoming class needed to consist of young men who are able to replace the types of players we lost to graduation and also bolster our current roster in some key areas,” said Paul Krumpe.

Cameron's older brother Tyler Krumpe also plays for their father, the former U.S. international.
