Parlee switches Pac-10 allegiance

[OREGON WOMEN] Lindsay Parlee, who ranks on the top 10 career list at Washington State in goals-against average, wins, shutouts and minutes played, has transferred to Pac-10 rival Oregon.

Parlee, who will have two years of eligibility, earned All-Pac-10 second-team recognition in her sophomore season.

“I’m really excited about Lindsay," said Oregon coach Tara Erickson. We remembered her during the recruiting process. She was an exceptional goalkeeper in her time at Washington State. Lindsay is a student of the game who has a very high work ethic. She brings that work ethic to our practices and in everything she does.”

Parlee, who is already enrolled and working out with the team, will be joined next fall by prep players Achijah Berry, Brynne Konkel and Brittanie Sakajian.

“It’s a smaller class, but done purposely after the large class we brought in a year ago,” Erickson said. “We were looking to fill some specific needs with this group, and we feel like we did that. These four will complement the players we already have on the roster.”
