While Chelsea was playing — and beating, 4-1 — Cardiff City in the English FA Cup, its captain, John Terry, was in Dubai making up with his wife.Chelsea gave Terry time off to reconcile with his wife, Toni, following revelations that he had an affair with French model Vanessa Perroncel, once one of Toni’s friends.
Terry sent his wife 100 red roses and emerged from their room at the Le Royal Meridien holding hands. They then walkedto the swimming pool, where they kissed for photographers.
“Our relationship is stronger than ever,” said Terry. “Toni and the children are the most important thing in the world tome.” This after he had twice previously admitted cheating on Toni.
