Mourinho punished for handcuffs gesture

For making a handcuffs gesture toward the referee during Inter Milan's scoreless tie with Sampdoria, Inter Milan coach Jose Mourinho will have to reach in his pocket to pay a $54,500 fine -- and he's been banned from the sidelines for three Italian Serie A game. Inter leads the Serie A standings with 55 points, ahead of Roma (50) and AC Milan (48). Mourinho was fined $24,500 for questioning the impartiality of a referee in the Jan. 24 Milan derby.
