Rongen names U-20 squad for Dallas Cup

[U.S. UNDER-20 NATIONAL TEAM] Philadelphia Union midfielder Amobi Okugo and Houston Dynamo midfielder Francisco Navas are among the 20 players Coach Thomas Rongen called up for the U.S. under-20 national team (players 19 and under in 2010) for the expanded Super Group at the 2010 Dallas Cup.

Other players include Virginia freshman freshman Will Bates, the 2009 Soccer America Freshman of the Year. The two foreign-based players are Moises Orozco, one of many Americans in Mexican club Tigres' youth program, and Will Packwood of English club Birmingham City's academy program.

Former U.S. U-17 Victor Garza, Orozco's teammate at Tigres, is reportedly headed with Mexico's U-18s to Barcelona instead of the U.S. U-20s to Texas.

Three players from the University of Akron and the Chivas USA academy program were picked.
