Bayern Munich earned a spot in the German Cup final with a 1-0 win over Schalke 04 to begin what Bayern coach Louis van Gaal calls the club's "weeks of truth." The win, thanks to Dutchman Arjen Robben's overtime goal, keeps Bayern in contention for three titles.

Bayern has a one-point lead atop the Bundesliga standings and faces seventh-place VfB Stuttgart on Saturday. On Tuesday, Bayern meets Manchester United in the Champions League their quarterfinal first leg. Then the following weekend Bayern faces Schalke 04 again in league play. Schalke is currently in second place. Third-place Bayer Leverkusen is Bayern's next foe after the Schalke clash.

"We'll either get the gladiolas or we'll be dead," said van Gaal, who cited the Bundesliga title as Bayern's priority, although the club wants all three trophies. Leverkusen, which is three points behind Bayern, hosts Schalke this Saturday.
