Tryout spots fill up in less than 24 hours

[SUENO MLS 2010] MLS's nationally televised player search has attracted 1,200 young players for Sueno MLS 2010, which expands to Houston, and returns to Los Angeles and Chicago. All 400 guaranteed tryout spots made available in each city were filled in less than 24 hours.

An additional 500 players have registered for the waiting list. The inaugural winner, Jorge Flores of Chivas USA, began his quest as a waiting list player.

In each city, players will try out for one of 10 invitations to a week-long trial with the youth development club of the respective host team.  Five from each city will ultimately be invited to take part training sessions and scrimmages before guest celebrity scouts.

The ultimate champion will be crowned on May 9 on Univision's “República Deportiva."
