[MLS] Jeremy Hall, Conor Chinn and Juan Pablo
Angel scored in the second half to lead the New York Red Bulls to a 3-1 win over Italian powerhouse Juventus in front of 18,735 at Red Bull Arena Sunday afternoon.
All three goals
came in a span of 25 minutes in the second half. Brazilian-Italian Amauri had the only goal for Juve in the 90th minute.
The struggling Red Bulls rested most of their
starters. Chinn was one of three rookies to start along with Irving Garcia and Tony Tchani in midfield. (Angel was a second-half sub.)
Brazilian defender
Clebao, who has played for clubs in Portugal and China as well as Brazil, has been training with the Bulls and started against Juve.
Juve was
missing several starters because of national team commitments, but it did start the longtime strike partnership of David Trezeguet and Alessandro Del Piero.
The Red Bulls will next face the Colorado Rapids in the U.S. Open Cup on Wednesday at Red Bull Arena.

Juve was not into this friendly and it showed...NYRB on the other hand had a few reserves show up with some passion and intensity which was missing in the last two home games.
