Vancouver Whitecaps at Stade Saputo and assured MLS's Toronto FC of defending the Canadian Nutrilite Championship.
Ansu Toure scored the lone goal for Vancouver, which
needed to win in order to advance to keep alive its hopes of overtaking Toronto.
Toronto now advances to the preliminary round of the Concacaf Champions League, where it will play Motagua
of Honduras in July.
Vancouver travels to BMO Field Wednesday to play TFC in the final game of the tournament.
