Sounders rout Boca before big crowd

[MLS] Seattle soccer fans will turn out to see anyone. With the Sounders struggling in MLS, you'd forgive them if they passed on Wednesday's friendly against Argentina's Boca Juniors, missing its star players, but a crowd of 40,122 watched Sounders win, 3-0.

Roger Levesque gave the Sounders the lead shortly before halftime, and Pat Noonan and Michael Seamon, the unsigned second-round draft pick out of Villanova, scored in the second half.

Seattle resumes MLS play Saturday night when it visits the Colorado Rapids.

Boca, missing Juan Ramon Riquelme and Martin Palermo, lost its second consecutive game and will conclude its three-match American tour on Saturday against the Portland Timbers.

The article fails to mention the extremely brutal match they had with LA Galaxy 3 days earlier which just might have taken a little out of them. Even so, Congrats to Seattle, Boca is an excellent team.
