The 200,000 public employees in Honduras will be given time off the job to watch the Catrachos play in their first World Cup since 1982.

Government workers won’t have to go to workuntil 10 a.m. local time on June 16, after Honduras has played Chile. They’ll get off work at 11:30 am on June 21 and June 25 for the Catrachos’ next two games, which will begin in the early afternoonlocal time.

The Honduran government, which ordered a national holiday after the Catrachos clinched their berth in the finals, has urged businesses to also give their employees timeoff.
