[USA-ENGLAND] The USA's 1-1 tie with England required strong performances from many players. Who's your choice for the game's best U.S. player?
Timmy all the way. Made crucial saves, and held on to the ball instead of dumping it back into the box. Hes got crazy glue on those gloves.
Without question....TIM HOWARD!!! He was AMAZING!!
An outstanding team effort emanating from Tim Howard. The team feeds off of his confidence in goal.
Howard was tops... USMNT played decent, but needs better quality servicing and an improvemnet in purpose of play...balls over the top don't work with the new ball and still some players kept bombing them upfield?
Tim Howard was great. Jay Demerit made Wayne Rooney disappear and fall back to midfield in an effort to get involved.
Tim Howard without a doubt was phenominal. Tim was steady, sturdy and controlled the net and the back line as a goalkeeper should do. Demerit did a great job on Rooney who only had one shot on goal the whole game. England is not as good as they think thay are. feelings of granduer from the british fans, Good luck.Go USA!!
Tim Howard was the best defensive player. But without Dempseys goal we would have lost. Dempsey has proven time and time again that hes our most reliable scorer. Hes got a knack for getting that lucky goal everytime. He is a risk taker.
Stupid question. The poll should have been, after Tim Howard, who was the best US player (then it might have been interesting (my vote for that would have been Cherundolo).
