Extra! Extra! Brazil eliminated

[OFF THE POST] Prepared for either eventuality, Brazil national team sponsor Extra, a supermarket chain, made two versions of a thank-you ad. Small problem: the Folha de Sao Paulo newspaper ran the wrong one.

The morning after Brazil defeated Chile, 3-0, to move into the quarterfinals, the newspaper ran the version expressing sadness at Brazil’s “elimination” and told readers they could at least look forward to the Brazil-hosted 2014 World Cup.

“The team exited the World Cup, but not our hearts,” said the Extra advertisement. “Thanks Brazil, we’ll see you in 2014."

Considering what octopus Paul is doing so far, this could be a bad omen

I missed my delivery of the paper that morning - dang! Publicity stunt or complete morons running the newspaper? From the print set up, to the people operating the printing machines, to the seperators for the paper routes, to the delivery drivers - no one notices. I don't think so...

Maybe they just jinxed themselves - uh oh?

World Cup Final Match coming up Saturday with Germany vs Argentina, thats the Final Game for me at least.
