Rongen picks MLS pros for Milk Cup

[UNDER-20 MEN] U.S. under-20 national team coach Thomas Rongen picked his 18-man roster for the annual Milk Cup in Northern Ireland. His roster includes three MLS players --  Juan Agudelo (New York Red Bulls), Fuad Ibrahim (Toronto FC) and Francisco Navas Cobo (Houston Dynamo) -- as well as three players based in Portugal, two in Mexico and one in Croatia.

The Americans will play China on Monday, Denmark two days later and an opponent to be determined in a placement match on July 30.

Besides the six who play overseas, Omar Salgado recently returned from a stint at Mexican club Guadalajara.

    I don't know who wrote this article, but it stated that 3 MLS players are on the U20 team. I think you should have read what you wrote. Under midfielders you have a DC United player by the name of Conor Shanofsky---that should make 4 MLS players in the USA U20 team. You need proofreaders. I think. Have a nice day. Editor's Note: As indicated, Conor Shanosky is on D.C. United's academy team, not its pro team. He will play at George Mason in the fall.
