Young stars get shot against USA

[BRAZIL] New Brazil coach Mano Menezes has called up young stars Alexandre Pato, Neymar and Paulo Henrique Ganso for Brazil's friendly against the USA Aug. 10 at the New Meadowlands Stadium. Mano's picks mark a change in course from that adopted by his predecessor, Dunga, who refused to pick the youngsters for the 2010 World Cup despite intense pressure from the Brazilian media.

Mano selected only three World Cup players: Robinho, Dani Alves and Ramires.

His squad includes 12 Brazil-based players, including Robinho, whose loan deal with Santos is about to expire, and 11 players spread across seven foreign leagues.
