Wenger blasts 'disastrous' EPL roster rules

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger called the new English Premier League’s rules, which limit rosters to 25 senior players and require a minimum of eight “home-grown” players, “disastrous for football."

“I am not a big fan of it, because it means many players will be without clubs," he said. "That’s the first mathematical consequence of it. The rules only apply to the EPL, not other English competitions. The UEFA competitions have their own roster rules.
