[BIG EAST WOMEN] Notre Dame and Marquette, winners of their respective divisions during the 2009 regular season, are picked as favorites in the 2010 Big East
preseason women’s poll.
The Irish received 14 first-place votes and are picked to win the league’s National Division, while the Golden Eagles had six first-place votes and sit
atop the American Division in the poll.
Irish junior forward Melissa Henderson earned Big East Preseason Offensive Player of the Year honors for
the second-straight season.
