Cassano is toast of Italy

[EURO 2012 QUALIFYING] Antonio Cassano, kept out of the Italy team for the last two World Cups, celebrated his return to the national team in competitive play with a goal and an assist to lead the Azzurri to a 2-1 comeback win at Estonia for their first win of 2010.

Cassano scored on a header in the 60th minute, then fed defender Leonardo Bonucci with a back heel off an Andrea Pirlo corner to put Italy in front.

“He’s the most talented player we have and he’s always decisive,” midfielder Daniele De Rossi said of the Sampdoria striker.
