The Australian soccer federation (FFA) is investigating star Matildas player Lisa De Vanna after lewd pictures were seen on her Facebook page.

The mother of the youngMatildas fan sent a complaint to federation after her child saw the photos, in which the players are clothed but engaged in simulated sex acts. The federation ordered De Vanna to remove the photos andset her page on private.

FFA head of women’s soccer Leeanne Grantham apologized to the mother for the “stupidity” her daughter had been subjected to. The Federation isinvestigating whether De Vanna had breached the FFA Code of Conduct.
