Missouri's Blitz earns 200th career win

[MILESTONES] Missouri women's coach Bryan Blitz earned his 200th career win with a 4-0 victory over Arkansas on Friday night.

The win was something of a relief to the Tigers, who were winless going into the game. They had opened with losses to nationally ranked ACC teams Maryland, Duke and North Carolina and had then tied Northwestern and DePaul on a swing through the Chicago area.

“It feels great,” Blitz said. “Just getting the next win was important to me as a coach. We have gotten so close, playing such a tough schedule on the road. Getting this win shows our team that their hard work is starting to pay off. Now our goal is to get into practice and get another win. Being consistent is the next challenge.”

Blitz is in his 15th season at Missouri after beginning his women's head coaching career at Butler.
