Americans headed back to South Africa

[DATEBOOK] The USA will return to South Africa for the fourth time in the last three years when it faces South Africa Nov. 17 in the Nelson Mandela Challenge Cup at the Green Point Stadium in Cape Town.

The Americans first traveled to play in South Africa in 2007 when they beat Bafana Bafana, 1-0, at the Nelson Mandela Challenge Cup. They also played in South Africa at the Confederations Cup in 2009 and World Cup in 2010.

Nov. 17 is an international fixture date but the date and venue will pose some challenges for U.S. national team coach Bob Bradley.

The match falls between the semifinals of the MLS playoffs and MLS Cup 2010, meaning not all MLS players will be available. It also mean a long trek for Bradley's European-based players to play in a friendly.

Hard to believe that MLS Bob is still around and will be for the next 4 long years.
