Rooney won't play in Valencia

An ankle injury suffered in a 2-2 tie at Bolton will prevent Manchester United forward Wayne Rooney from traveling with the squad for its Champions' League match with Valencia
Wednesday. Winger Ryan Giggs is also on the injured list.
United manager Alex Ferguson said Rooney is also feeling the stress of off-field problems
relating to his private life.
