Galaxy midfielder David Beckham dismissed speculation he'll go on loan again this winter as he's done for the past two years: "I don't think so. I'll never say never but I need to
focus on my fitness."
Regarding his future with the English national team, for which he has played 115 times, second on the all-time list behind goalkeeper Peter Shilton,
Beckham said:
"I want to continue to be available to play for England. That's all I can do. I am passionate about playing for my country and I have been for 15 years now. But whether it's
over or not is not really down to me."
Beckham spent the last two MLS offseasons with AC Milan. He suffered an Achilles' tendon tear last March playing with AC Milan that kept him out of
MLS play until September.
