Lowe's Senior CLASS finalists

[AWARDS] Twenty college seniors were selected as finalists for the 2010 Lowe’s Senior CLASS Award. Such stars as Anthony Ampaipitakwong (Akron), Ali Hawkins (North Carolina) and Christen Press (Stanford) are among the finalists.

An acronym for Celebrating Loyalty and Achievement for Staying in School, the Lowe’s Senior CLASS Award encourages athletes to use their platform to make a positive impact as leaders in their communities.

The finalists were chosen by a media committee from the list of 30 men's candidates and 30 women's candidates that were announced in August.

Fan votes will be combined with media and coaches votes to determine the winner.
