Wondo takes scoring crown

[MLS] Chris Wondolowski scored in the San Jose Earthquakes' 4-1 loss to the Kansas City Wizards on Saturday night and took the MLS scoring title --  the Budweiser Golden Boot – with 18 goals, edging out the Los Angeles Galaxy's Edson Buddle, who had held or shared the scoring lead since Week 2 of the 2010 season.

Wondolowski scored six goals in his last four games to overtake Buddle.

Buddle had one last chance to pull even with or overtake Wondolowski, but he was held scoreless in the Galaxy's 2-1 win over FC Dallas on Sunday night.
