Serbia forced to forfeit game against Italy

UEFA awarded Italy a 3-0 victory over Serbia by forfeit for the Euro 2012 qualifying game in Genoa abandoned after just six minutes when Serbian hooligans in the traveling section threw objects on to the field and caused problems in the stands.

UEFA rejected the Serbian federation's request for a replay of the Group C qualifier that leaves Serbia with just four points in four games.

Italy leads the group, three points ahead of Slovenia.
