Canada handles Mexico in the rain

[WOMEN'S WORLD CUP QUALIFYING] Heavy rains did not prevent Canada from rolling over host Mexico, 3-0, in Cancun and setting up USA-Mexico and Canada-Costa Rica semifinal matchups on Friday night for Concacaf's two automatic berths in the 2011 Women's World Cup in Germany.

Candace-Marie Chapman and Josee Belanger scored first-half goals, and Jonelle Filigno added an insurance goal for Canada, which won for the fifth time in five matches against Mexico in the CONCACAF women's championship.

Friday's winners and losers will face off on Monday. Concacaf's third-place winner will play European fifth-place finisher Italy for another World Cup spot.

The games can be watched live at www.concacaf.com.
