Fan's header earns ejection

[VIDEO PICK] Aston Villa fan Kieran Comerford, a 19-year-old apprentice bricklayer, was ejected from Villa Park for heading a ball back into play and falling onto the field.

Aston Villa director General Charles Krulak told the Birmingham Mail that the club's stadium security forces will be “reeducated.”

"Stewards need to exercise fairness in the treatment of all fans,” said Krulak. “Our head of security is meeting the senior stewards to reeducate them on how to carry out their duties.

"Overzealous stewards can destroy the atmosphere as fast as poor play."

Comerford said, “My header was probably one of the best bits of the game. ... All the fans laughed and cheered, but before I could even get up I was escorted out by stewards."
