Teal Bunbury played for Canada at the international youth level, and his father, Alex, is in the Canadian Soccer Hall of Fame after a long international career for Canada.

But the Kansas City Wizards rookie is comfortable with his decision to accept a call-up from U.S. national team coach Bob Bradley for Wednesday's friendly at South Africa.
