[NIKE INTERNATIONAL FRIENDLIES] The U.S. under-17 national team beat South Korea, 2-1, and tied Brazil, 0-0, before falling to champion Turkey, 2-0, on the
final day of the 2010 Nike International Friendlies at the Reach 11 Sports Complex in Phoenix.
A pair of first-half goals from Matthew Dunn and Mario Rodriguez gave the USA the win over the Koreans.
Dunn, who is in the FC Cologne youth system, scored off a corner kick played into the area, while Marc Pelosi set up Rodriguez.
Two days later, Brazil held on for a tie against the USA despite losing two players to red cards in the last 16 minutes.
Sunday's victory gave Turkey three wins in three games.
The Nike International Friendlies are played in conjunction with the Development Academy Winter Showcase, where all
156 Academy teams in the U-15/16 and U-17/18 age groups have been competing this weekend.
