Inter Milan cruises, Pachuca takes fifth

[CLUB WORLD CUP] European champion Inter Milan moved into the final of the 2010 Club World Cup against TP Mazembe of the Democratic Republic of Congo with an easy 3-0 win over South Korea's Seongnam Ilhwa Chunma, the Asian champion, in Wednesday's semifinal in Abu Dhabi. U.S. World Cup players Jose Francisco Torres and Herculez Gomez started for Mexican club Pachuca in its shootout win over 10-man Al Wahda of the United Arab Emirates in the fifth-place game.

Dejan Stankovic gave Inter the lead in the 3rd minute, and captain Javier Zanetti made it 2-0 after some nifty work with fellow Argentine Diego Milito.

The only down note for Inter was an injury to Dutchman Wesley Sneijder, who limped off the field early in the game.

His status for Sunday's final is uncertain.

Pachuca was 2-0 down with eight minutes to go when substitute Dario Cvitanich scored twice, the second goal on a clever backheel in the 89th minute, to even the score at 2-2.
